as a lego product it is for kids but by using intertextuality they managed to apply events in the movie adults would also understand.
-what did lego do right?
they targeted the correct audience and made advertisements which had not been done before in lego


The LEGO movie had an effective marketing campaign because the where smart on how they had adverised it an example of this is that they used social media the reason it was smart to use social media is because it is free to download and it is the most used app.
                                                                                 
if i was to advertise a movie it would be about air soft guns and the world first thing i would organise an air soft fight in a city centre and allow random people to join in for free.
