horror film homework



This poster is a good poster for the horror genre the reason i say this is because of the black background to make the writing and also the creepy face stand out.The red writing represents blood to fit the genre and the creepy face in the middle of the poster could get the attention of the person buying the movie or watching it.

    Some relevant points linking to genre conventions - well done.
    Targets:
    1) Use paragraphs e.g. break it down into separate paragraphs for; colour pallet, imagery and text.
    2) Write in more detail about the image...why is it frightening? Why will it attract the audience?
    3) Write about the title - why does the title of the film work for the genre? Why will it interest the audience?
